About Wynn Al Marjan Island:
Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.
About the Position:
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Supervisor – Pool Services to join the resort’s Pool Services team.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Supervise the daily performance of assigned Pool Services Attendants and operational colleagues across pool, beach, cabana, daybed, recreation, and guest service areas.
- Assign daily work locations, zones, colleague deployment, break coverage, and operational responsibilities based on business levels and operational requirements.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily priorities, VIP arrivals, events, weather conditions, occupancy levels, service focus points, and operational updates.
- Monitor colleague productivity, grooming, professionalism, service delivery, task completion, and adherence to departmental standards.
- Provide coaching, training, mentoring, and performance feedback to attendants and assigned colleagues.
- Support onboarding, skills development, task training, Forbes service preparation, and continuous development of newly hired colleagues.
- Ensure appropriate staffing coverage, zone presence, and operational support are maintained throughout the shift.
- Escalate operational concerns, staffing issues, performance challenges, guest complaints, maintenance delays, and service gaps to the Assistant Manager – Pool Services.
- Lead by example through visible floor presence, professional conduct, hands-on operational support, and confident guest engagement.
- Foster a positive, accountable, disciplined, and service-oriented team culture.
- Ensure guests receive exceptional service in accordance with Forbes Five-Star standards and Wynn luxury hospitality expectations.
- Maintain a highly visible presence throughout pool and beach areas to monitor service delivery and guest comfort.
- Support attendants in anticipating guest needs, preparing guest setups, providing timely assistance, and delivering personalized service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and proactively identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
- Assist with guest concerns, service recovery situations, special requests, and operational follow-up.
- Ensure VIP guests, casino guests, cabana guests, daybed guests, and special event guests receive appropriate service attention and operational support.
- Partner with Head Hostess, Cabana Receptionists, Pool & Beach Hostesses, Food & Beverage, Recreation, Resort Services, Housekeeping, and Security to deliver seamless guest experiences.
- Ensure all guest-facing areas are maintained to a luxury standard throughout the day.
- Oversee daily floor operations across pools, beach areas, cabanas, daybeds, recreational facilities, guest service stations, and assigned operational zones.
- Ensure all areas are fully prepared prior to opening and restored appropriately during closing procedures.
- Conduct opening, mid-shift, and closing inspections to verify cleanliness, setup, equipment readiness, presentation standards, and operational functionality.
- Verify readiness and placement of furniture, umbrellas, towels, amenities, water stations, cabana supplies, daybed setups, equipment, signage, and guest service stations.
- Monitor cleanliness, organization, presentation standards, and operational readiness throughout the day.
- Ensure all guest-facing areas consistently reflect Wynn luxury standards and are free from visible service or presentation gaps.
- Coordinate daily operational activities with Engineering, Housekeeping, Security, Landscaping, Food & Beverage, Recreation, and other resort departments.
- Support execution of special events, activations, seasonal programming, VIP setups, and high-volume operating periods.
- Monitor weather conditions and implement operational adjustments such as umbrella management, towel protection, furniture securing, or service relocation as required.
- Maintain operational continuity during peak demand periods, unexpected changes, and service disruptions.
- Complete operational reports, checklists, inspections, incident reports, shift handovers, deployment sheets, and daily logs accurately and on time.
- Review attendance records, break schedules, zone assignments, colleague deployment logs, and task completion records as required.
- Support scheduling input, manpower planning, training records, and colleague performance observations when required.
- Communicate operational updates, guest feedback, service opportunities, inventory needs, and maintenance priorities to leadership.
- Use departmental systems, radios, communication platforms, reporting tools, and operational applications effectively.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information, colleague information, and company records.
- Monitor daily inventory levels of towels, amenities, guest supplies, recreation equipment, operational tools, and service materials.
- Ensure timely replenishment, distribution, and deployment of supplies across all operational areas throughout the shift.
- Support inventory tracking, par levels, stock movement, storage organization, and documentation.
- Monitor condition of furniture, umbrellas, loungers, daybeds, cabana equipment, towel stations, service carts, and operational assets.
- Report damaged, missing, unsafe, or underperforming equipment and follow up on maintenance or replacement requirements.
- Ensure storage areas, back-of-house spaces, and operational staging zones remain clean, organized, safe, and secure.
- Assist with stock counts, inventory audits, asset tracking, and loss prevention initiatives as required.
- Support departmental cost control through proper use, deployment, care, and protection of company resources.
- Support departmental productivity, labor efficiency, and resource utilization objectives.
- Assist in the protection of company assets, operational resources, equipment, and guest supplies.
- Support revenue-generating initiatives through operational readiness, premium setup execution, and guest service support.
- Monitor proper use of amenities, cabanas, daybeds, towels, recreation equipment, and guest supplies.
- Support departmental cost-control initiatives through proper inventory management, waste reduction, and responsible deployment of resources.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with the Head Hostess and Lifeguard Supervisor as parallel supervisory partners within the Pool Services operation.
- Support teamwork and coordination between attendants, hostesses, receptionists, lifeguards, Food & Beverage teams, Security, Housekeeping, Engineering, Recreation, and Resort Services.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, briefings, training programs, Forbes preparation, and development initiatives.
- Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, safety, ownership, guest focus, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure communication between reception-based colleagues and floor-based colleagues is clear, timely, and accurate.
- Support colleagues during peak periods and operational challenges.

- Communicate operational updates, guest feedback, team observations, and service opportunities to leadership.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Hospitality, tourism, recreation, or leadership-related certifications preferred.
- Minimum two (2) to three (3) years of experience in luxury hospitality, recreation, pool, beach, resort, guest service, or outdoor operations preferred.
- Previous supervisory, team leader, floor supervisor, recreation supervisor, or operational leadership experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel, resort, beach club, pool operation, or high-volume guest-facing environment preferred.
- Working knowledge of resort operations, pool and beach service standards, guest area setup, and luxury presentation expectations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferred.
- Ability to utilize operational systems, communication platforms, radios, reporting tools, checklists, and departmental applications.
- Understanding of inventory control, operational logistics, asset care, and supply deployment.
- Ability to read and complete operational reports, inspections, handovers, and task documentation accurately.
