Job Description

The Plumbing Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day plumbing and drainage installation activities at the project site. The role ensures that all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project schedules while coordinating closely with site engineers and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily plumbing and drainage works at site as per approved drawings and instructions.
• Allocate tasks to technicians, plumbers, and helpers.
• Ensure work is carried out according to quality standards and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with Site Engineer and report daily progress and site issues.
• Monitor manpower productivity and ensure efficient work execution.
• Check materials received and ensure proper usage at site.
• Assist in installation, testing, flushing, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety compliance at work areas.
• Identify and report site issues, clashes, and technical difficulties.
• Follow up on rework, snag rectification, and completion tasks.
• Support inspections and coordinate with engineers during consultant visits.

Required Qualifications

• High School / ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related field preferred.
• 3–7 years of experience in plumbing site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, and sewage systems.
• Experience in building construction projects preferred.
• Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings.
