Job Description

The Supervisor of Planning Solutions will report to and support the Manager of Planning – Scheduling Systems Management. This position is responsible for leading, developing, and mentoring a growing team that supports the creation, improvement, and execution of processes and software solutions related to Teamcenter, NGP, Change Management, As‑Built, and other Integrated Digital Enterprise (DE) products. The supervisor will also play a key role in training, developing, and upskilling personnel across the organization.

Areas of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the development and implementation of processes and software requirements for the next-generation Digital Enterprise (DE) as they relate to Planning
  • Contributing to the development of new planning processes, procedures, and best practices
  • Participating in solution development and software testing activities that support the new DE environment
  • Collaborating with EBIT on the development, testing, and deployment of complex ITCRs and critical business system upgrades
  • Coordinating with Detail Planning, Operations, Engineering, Design, Materials, Configuration Management, Quality, Advance Planning, and Production Control Planning
  • Prioritizing team tasks to maintain schedules and providing regular status updates to management, including identification of risks, obstacles, and mitigation strategies

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in Planning, Data Management, or Production Support (with primary focus on Teamcenter/NGP)
  • Strong computer proficiency and experience with any of the following:
    • Teamcenter
    • NGP
    • CPM
    • MRP
    • JIRA

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience with Detail Planning and As-Built related processes/procedures
  • Familiarity with planning software applications used for IPDE products(MMAP,Kraken,AutoWaffl)
  • Electric Boat leadership program (e.g., ELG or FLG) graduate
  • PMP Certification or project management principles
  • Preferred technical degree in Data analytics, project management, or programming
  • Understanding of Project Management, Configuration Control and IT Task/CR processes and principles
  • Familiarity with the following business systems: MRP, 3G, Team Center (MPP/NGP), ERS (SWSS/CPJ), Team Center / NX
