Position Purpose

The Pharmacy Supervisor – Technician provides safe, quality technical and non-technical functions which assist in provision of pharmaceutical care under the supervision and direction of a registered pharmacist in accordance with level of experience, education, policies and procedures. Accountable for leading, managing and advancing people, processes and / or programs that support direct or indirect patient care. Implements strategic and operational initiatives including new services/programs, revenue enhancement, expense reduction, managed care utilization systems, and strategies.

What you will do

• Responsible for the successful achievement of strategic objectives and goals and optimizing resources to achieve the desired outcomes
• Monitor quality assurance activities and issues, identify opportunities, and create corrective action plans to improve operational effectiveness
• Support business development, revenue integrity, and 340B program activities
• Ensure colleagues are assigned to work areas to achieve established standards for operational support
• Support procurement activities including purchasing, receiving, storing, distribution, inventory, compounding and dispensing of pharmaceuticals

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Pharmacy Technician state license
• PTCB National Certiifcation (CPhT)
• 3 years' experience as a Pharmacy Technician
