EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED equivalent required with three years supervisory experience in the Patron and Valet industry or in another customer service focused industry preferred. Associate-s degree preferred. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: Valid applicable state driver's license. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Responsible for various personnel functions including hiring, annual reviews, and merit recommendations. Develops staffing schedules and approves Time and Attendance. 2. In cooperation with other supervisors, provides customer service and job-related training to new and existing staff. Coaches individual team members to promote personal growth as well as improvement in services. 3. Coordinates daily staffing needs with other departmental supervisors to ensure adequate coverage across all venues. 4. Oversees daily financial transactions of Valet staff as appropriate. 5. Handles all customer service inquiries, issues and complaints promptly and professionally. Tracks all complements and complaints to recognize patterns so that proactive action can be undertaken. 6. Conducts regular inspections of equipment and patron/valet areas to ensure that they remain in good working order. 7. Assists with Patron and Valet duties to ensure excellent customer service at all times for patients and guests. 8. Provides input to Director regarding the compilation of the annual operating and capital equipment budgets. Manages staff to keep payroll expenses within budgeted hours. 9. Promotes teamwork among all Patron and Valet staff. Exhibits a positive attitude related to duties. Interacts in a positive manner with all Medical Center staff. 10. Alternates on-call coverage with other supervisors to ensure adequate weekend coverage. 11. Inspects public facing areas daily to ensure that work place standards are maintained. Holds staff accountable for keeping work locations neat and free of visible personal items.
