Overview

About the Role

The primary purpose of the Supervisor Patient Accounts position, under the direction of the Manager or Director of Patient Accounts, is to be responsible for the coordination, supervision and control of the Midlevel Provider Credentialing process and implementation of billing and follow-up activities of accounts.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee and coordinate the Midlevel Provider Credentialing process under the guidance of the Patient Accounts Manager or Director.
  • Supervise billing operations and ensure timely follow‑up on patient accounts.
  • Manage workflow, processes, and team responsibilities related to credentialing and account activities.
  • Ensure proper control, accuracy, and efficiency throughout all credentialing and billing functions.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in credentialing and billing.
  • Prior supervisory or lead experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with computers and standard office software required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Relevant work experience may be substituted for the degree on a year‑for‑year basis.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is SS/21S: $60,638 - $88,317 per year in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
