Job Description

Primary Objective of Position:

The Supervisor of Outside Part Sales leads a team responsible for all direct-to-customer parts sales and support for Winnebago products. This role ensures a seamless and positive customer experience across order intake, inquiry handling, and relationship management. The supervisor drives a high-performing, customer-first culture focused on responsiveness, accuracy, and ease of doing business. This role works closely with internal part sales, supply chain, and customer care teams to improve processes, remove friction, and ensure timely fulfillment of customer needs. The ideal candidate is both hands-on in daily operations and proactive in driving continuous improvement.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Customer Direct Sales & Service

  • Oversee all direct-to-customer part sales activities, including order intake, inquiries, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure customers receive timely, accurate, and professional support across phone, email, and digital channels.
  • Build strong customer relationships by delivering consistent, knowledgeable, and solution-oriented service.
  • Support customers in identifying correct parts and navigating purchasing options.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient order processing from intake through fulfillment.
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve order issues, delays, or discrepancies.
  • Monitor order flow and proactively address bottlenecks to meet delivery expectations.
  • Collaborate with broader part sales teams, supply chain, warehouse, and customer care to streamline processes and improve service delivery.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of outside part sales representatives.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and monitor productivity, quality, and service levels.
  • Foster a positive, customer-first culture rooted in accountability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to strengthen team capabilities.
  • Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, response time, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce cycle times, and enhance customer experience.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience and Education:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in parts sales, customer service, or inside/outside sales environments.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience in RV, automotive, or related industries is a plus.

Customer-Centric Mindset:

  • Passion for serving customers and building long-term relationships.
  • Demonstrates empathy, responsiveness, and a solutions-focused approach.

Sales & Communication Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to guide customers through purchasing decisions and resolve issues effectively.

Process & Metrics Driven:

  • Comfortable using KPIs and data to manage performance and drive improvements.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order management.

Collaboration & Problem Solving:

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence outcomes.
  • Skilled at identifying root causes and implementing practical solutions.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Experience with ERP systems (D365 preferred), CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), and Microsoft Excel.

Ability to leverage tools and systems to improve efficiency and customer experience.
