About the role

As a Supervisor, Operations, you are responsible for overseeing all physical warehouse processes within our EMEA Distribution Center. This includes inbound, internal, and outbound operational activities, ensuring they are executed in line with WINs and SOPs.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys operational ownership, continuous improvement, and developing people in a fast-paced logistics environment.

In this role, you will:

• Lead, coach, and support a team of up to 15 employees and temporary workers in daily warehouse operations (inbound, internal, outbound).
• Ensure execution of operational activities according to SOPs and WINs while meeting SLA’s, productivity, quality, and safety targets.
• Monitor performance, take corrective actions when needed, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support workforce flexibility through training, cross-training, and input to staffing and planning activities.
• Contribute to HR-related processes such as absenteeism follow-up, training, and performance reviews.
• Drive 5S, Health & Safety, compliance, and quality standards across the operation.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Planning, Warehouse Administration, HR, QA, Finance, Procurement) and external partners (e.g. temporary staffing agencies).
• Participate in operational projects and support improvements in processes, systems, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure operational continuity by supporting shift coverage, including weekends and holidays when required.

Our requirementsEducation & experience:

• Higher level education (HBO) or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role is required.
• Experience working with temporary workforce is an advantage.

Technical skills:

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems; Oracle WMS is an advantage.
• Ability to work with operational data and performance KPIs.
• Good command of English or Dutch is required; proficiency in both languages is strongly preferred.
