As a Supervisor of Life Enrichment, you’ll bring energy, leadership, and creativity to the development and implementation of individualized programming across the community. You’ll lead a team that delivers meaningful daily experiences—fostering connection, self-fulfillment, and purpose through life-enriching activities. With a focus on person-centered care and dignity, your leadership will ensure that every resident, including those living with memory loss, feels known, engaged, and inspired.
As a Supervisor of Life Enrichment, you will:
- Lead & Inspire Your Team – Provide supervision, support, and just-in-time coaching for Life Enrichment staff. Guide performance management, training, and development in alignment with resident-centered values.
- Coordinate Innovative Programming – Develop, implement, and evaluate programs that meet the spiritual, psychosocial, physical, and emotional needs of residents. Lead calendar planning, special events, and personalized interventions that reflect the individuality of each resident.
- Collaborate Across Teams & Departments – Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, marketing, volunteers, and families to promote meaningful engagement and uphold the community’s mission, vision, and values.
- Support Individualized Memory Care – Oversee memory care programs and ensure all Life Enrichment activities foster autonomy, dignity, and choice. Train staff in therapeutic and cognitive techniques, including validation therapy and sensory-based approaches.
- Ensure Operational Excellence – Manage departmental budgets, coordinate transportation services, maintain volunteer programs, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

This job also requires:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management, Gerontology, Therapeutic Recreation, Social Work, or related field preferred (or equivalent healthcare experience).
- Minimum of 5 years experience working with seniors or community services; memory care experience preferred.
- Minnesota Class C driver’s license in good standing.
- Knowledge of life enrichment programming, assessments, care planning, and activity documentation.
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to motivate teams and foster a positive, engaging culture.
- Ability to pass state mandated background checks.
- Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with team members, residents, and families.
