What Patient Concierge contributes to Cardinal Health

Practice Operations Management oversees the business and administrative operations of a medical practice.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise new patient department - Responsible for the supervision of staff including scheduling, monitoring productivity standards, providing training to staff as needed

  • Ensure staff are scheduling new patient appointments in a timely and efficient manner

  • Enhance the patient experience by providing efficient and courteous service to all guests, clients, and staff, with optimal customer service

  • Contribute positively to the team approach and culture of the Center

  • Ensure technical and clerical aspects of patient coordination are best in class

  • Work with management team towards a common goal including actively engaging in Center growth and marketing strategies, clinical care and quality improvement opportunities

  • Provide backup support to the center when Operations Manager is not on-site


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Medical Office experience required

  • Previous experience working in a lead or supervisor role

  • Complete understanding of referrals, authorizations, medical records and patient scheduling required

  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems, research, and make recommendations to resolve issues

  • Excellent oral and written communication

  • Ability to multi-task and promote teamwork
