The Supervisor, Museum Maintenance position performs a variety of intermediate level skills in general maintenance tasks, repairs, preventive maintenance, and custodial work and will lead the second shift building maintenance staff. This position includes complex duties that are performed with a greater degree of independence and leadership. This position works extensively with business operations and departments engaged in events and activities that take place within the museum including preparation, set-up, clean-up, and teardown. High standards of performance must be maintained on a continuous basis to maintain EAA standards and facilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to perform manual labor, lift up to 75 lbs occasionally, standing and walking for extended periods of time while bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting, push and pull motions. Work above ground on irregular surfaces. May have exposure to outside weather elements, noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, gases, pesticides and/or fertilizers.
