  • Coordinate patient care with radiologists, physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team to promote efficient care delivery and positive patient outcomes.
  • Lead the resolution of complex operational issues, patient concerns, and service-related challenges.
  • Support equipment quality control, maintenance, and troubleshooting while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Partner with department and organizational leadership to identify opportunities to improve workflows, expand access, and strengthen the patient and employee experience.
  • Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service throughout MRI operations.

What You'll Bring

  • Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
  • ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance (MR) required.
  • Current Maine State Radiologic Technologist license required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification preferred.
  • Five or more years of MRI experience preferred.
  • Two or more years of leadership experience within MRI or medical imaging services preferred.
  • Ability to effectively lead, mentor, and empower staff while creating an environment of collaboration, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Strong working relationships and communication skills with administrators, radiologists, physicians, clinical staff, and other organizational partners.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Self-directed and motivated, with a strong understanding of the responsibilities and expectations of a healthcare leadership role.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicable clinical and imaging technologies.
