About the role

Reporting to the Superintendent – Mobile Maintenance, the Supervisor – Mobile Maintenance is responsible for leading and coordinating mobile maintenance crews to ensure the safe, efficient and cost‑effective maintenance of underground and surface mobile equipment at Ernest Henry. This role is critical to delivering high equipment reliability and performance across the operation while fostering a strong safety and accountability culture.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

• Leading, mentoring and developing tradespeople and apprentices to deliver safe and reliable maintenance outcomes
• Fulfilling the statutory obligations of a supervisor under the Mining and Quarrying Acts and Regulations
• Communicating daily maintenance plans, priorities and expectations to crews
• Allocating work and monitoring performance against maintenance requirements
• Ensuring compliance with site safety standards, procedures and statutory requirements
• Supporting breakdown response, shutdown execution and continuous improvement initiatives
• Building a culture of accountability, teamwork and safety within the maintenance crew

About you

We are seeking applicants with the following attributes, skills and experience:

• A recognised trade qualification
• Supervisor competencies (S1, S2, S3)
• Significant experience in mobile plant maintenance within a mining environment
• Proven leadership, coaching and mentoring capability
• Experience maintaining heavy mobile equipment
• Strong understanding of statutory compliance and safety systems
• A solutions‑focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
• Ability to perform in a fast‑paced operational environment
