About this Position
We are looking for a Marketing Supervisor to join our Marketing Department.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day supervision and guidance to the Client Solutions Marketing team to support operational objectives
- Set daily and short-term team priorities, assign work, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion
- Coordinate workflow across Marketing, Publications, and other internal teams to support effective execution of deliverables
- Supervise and support the Marketing Specialist and Marketing Analyst, including task assignment, coaching, and performance feedback
- Provide onboarding, training, and ongoing support to team members
- Support the implementation and maintenance of department procedures and operational standards to improve efficiency and consistency
- Coordinate the development, review, approval, and tracking of marketing materials (print, video, and digital) in accordance with established processes
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Publications, vendors) to ensure materials meet requirements and are delivered on time
- Coordinate translation requests and ensure alignment with established guidelines
- Maintain processes for inventory tracking, content updates, and lifecycle management of marketing materials
- Support implementation of tracking, audit, and reporting activities related to marketing operations and compliance requirements
- Assist with preparation and coordination of audit-related activities (e.g., TPRM, ERM, advertising reviews)
- Oversee day-to-day coordination of field advertising and marketing requests, including review, tracking, and follow-up
- Act as a primary contact for field inquiries, ensuring requests are addressed in accordance with policies and procedures
- Coordinate with Legal and other stakeholders on field event materials and presentations
- Maintain and update intranet and website content to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Support the execution of marketing initiatives, campaigns, and field communications programs
- Coordinate implementation of corporate marketing initiatives within the Canadian business
- Support the development and execution of ancillary product initiatives, including coordination of materials, training, and promotions
- Assist in managing relationships with vendors and partners to support delivery of marketing programs
- Provide operational support for incentive programs, recognition initiatives, and project coordination
- Identify and resolve day-to-day operational issues, escalating more complex concerns as appropriate
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, field partners, and vendors to support ongoing marketing activities
- Perform other marketing and operational support duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within financial services
- Prior experience providing team coordination or supervisory support preferred
- Working knowledge of financial services industry and marketing practices
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple activities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Demonstrated ability to follow established policies and procedures while exercising sound judgment on day-to-day issues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bilingualism (English/French) considered an asset
- Industry licensing (e.g., Life Insurance or Mutual Funds) considered an asset
