As a Supervisor Maintenance Battery department, you will oversee a team of equipment and machine maintenance technicians who are responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of the equipment. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining maintenance and calibration schedules for all tools, machines, and equipment used in the production facility. Additionally, you will be involved in engineering and manufacturing support activities, including 5S and Lean manufacturing initiatives, material handling improvements, production line configuration, and safety procedures. Ensuring the implementation of safety standards within your team will also be a key aspect of your role

What You’ll Do

  • Ensuring relevant maintenance and repair activities in accordance with safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale requirements.
  • Providing technical and disciplinary management, including organizing and scheduling assigned personnel, conducting training, qualification, and coaching of maintenance employees.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and monitoring their implementation.
  • Reviewing and updating work instructions as necessary, and implementing store floor management procedures.
  • Collaborating with other departments to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensuring the availability of series production regarding product changes and improvements.
  • Implementing preventive maintenance programs to optimize production performance, troubleshooting issues, and providing support during conversion projects.
  • Providing technical support during the commissioning of new systems.

What You’ll Bring

  • Completed vocational training in a trade or technical field, preferably with further qualification as an industrial foreman or technician.
  • Several years of experience in maintenance within a production plant, with professional experience as a shift supervisor.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the entire production process.
  • Strong awareness of quality standards.
  • Ability to multitask, organize multiple tasks with equally high priorities, and set and achieve goals effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work full shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in German and English.
  • Awareness of and aptitude for maintenance within a production line for high-voltage (HV) battery products.
  • Familiarity with standards, rules, and regulations in the technical environment is advantageous.
