PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop, implement and execute strategic sourcing and contracting strategies, processes and activities by integration and leveraging of spend and opportunities across the Division/Business in collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver significant savings and efficient operational services in support of Company’s targets.

· Work with Procurement Manager, alongside global Category Managers and key stakeholders to ensure appropriate strategies are agreed and implemented at a country level.

  • Develop plans, organizes and implement national/regional contracting and procurement strategies and programs to increase operational efficiency and profitability
  • Develop standardized systems and controls for procurement including Request for Quotation documentation, work authorization, purchase and change order systems, and supplier/contractor eligibility criteria
  • Create and develop strong working relationships with key internal and external partners and implement process improvement within the organization
  • Develop, manage and coordinate regional sourcing processes and practices with internal stakeholders. Develop and manage relationships with national/regional suppliers and contractors and lead in contract negotiations

· Assist in Overseeing the Procurement activities of all entities.

· Supervises and manages personnel in Procurement for the various Transactional and Strategic work.

· Ensure that performance (KPI) are met by each staff.

· Manages specific category of material or services by providing short and long range sourcing strategies.

· Manages the price and total cost of ownership of materials, supplies and services that needs to be purchased.

· Identifies procurement opportunities and risk, analyze spend patterns and develop ling term relationship with suppliers in order to drive fact-based cross-functional decision making in the specific managed category.

· Provides leadership, strategy and appropriate level of tactical execution plans for his/her assigned categories.

· He/she creates and implements strategies while supporting the overall strategy of Global/Regional Procurement and its related objectives in alignment cross-functionally.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Sourcing

· Develops and updates procurement strategies, policies and plans.

· Manages procurement information and systems, and reviews category strategy together with the Division/Business planning.

· Prepares price comparisons and cost savings budgeting.

· Identifies sourcing opportunities and potential solutions and provides insight to Management.

· Utilizes strong leadership and collaborative skills in interacting with customers, suppliers, and team members.

· Manages complex interactions involving suppliers, customers, and the overall needs of the organization.

· Serves as point of contact on contract compliance matters working with other company departments and external stakeholders.

Supplier Management

· Ensures regular updating of vendor registry.

· Facilitates administration of Vendor-related activities such as registration, rating, onsite inspection, and evaluation of vendors.

· Analyzes spend information and recommends opportunities for reducing supplier costs.

· Manages and develops the existing and potential supplier pool.

· Creates supplier metrics that would optimize service levels.

· Searches for new potential suppliers and develops and sets up a supplier database.

· Evaluates new vendors based on set criteria and qualifications.

· Negotiates with local and international suppliers at the best possible terms (e.g. cost, delivery terms, payment terms etc.) and sets up frame contract.

People Supervision

· Coach, motivate, challenge, develop and recognize individuals on a continuous basis. Enables an inclusive and Orange code culture where everyone gives their best to the organization and each other.

· Fosters collaboration in the team and with other teams. Understands the benefits of collaboration for achieving results and can work with others and influence people.

· Know how to have the right people at the right time at the right place, which means anticipating on the attrition via active succession planning in the team and by hiring new staff.

· Is living and breathing the Orange code. Owns actions and outcomes. Delegates frequently and effectively yet is still responsible for the overall agenda.

Knowledge Management

· Develops awareness of procurement processes.

· Ensure the knowledge of procurement processes and policies is recognized and documented in work instructions and procedures. Instructs and supports others in this area.

· Trains staff. Provides feedback to Procurement Manager on the work performance of staff. Capable to act as OIC when the Procurement is absent.

Service Delivery

· Is first point of contact for escalations and knows how to solve the problems. Knows when to upscale escalations in case of complex/high risk issues and has excellent communications skills to explain problems/exceptions when escalation is needed.

Process Improvement

· Identifies and implements improvements. Make sure parties involved are kept informed about improvements.

Organizational Management

· Understands the different organization structures and types of reporting lines (formal, informal, hierarchical, product & function, geographical) adapts accordingly.

· Realizes changes relating to policy implementation and continuously improves services at team level.

Requisitos

· Must have procurement or supply chain background.

· Minimum of 5 years experience in Procurement/Supply Chain
