Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you as a Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing medium to large teams involved in manufacturing operations. You will plan, coordinate, and control production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery in alignment with customer requirements and operational goals.
You will ensure the effective use of personnel, materials, and equipment while meeting daily production targets focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. Additionally, you will monitor workforce performance, enforce internal regulations, and take immediate action when operations do not meet technical specifications.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain clear communication with your team through tier meetings, ensuring alignment on results, progress, and departmental goals.
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet operational targets.
Ensure effective utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
Balance workforce according to production demand.
Monitor attendance and punctuality, applying internal policies as needed.
Stop operations that do not meet technical specifications and escalate accordingly.
Maintain control of materials, including WIP, scrap, and material flow.
Communicate performance, goals, and updates through tier meetings.
Support continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing tools (5S, TPM, Kanban, SMED, Poka-Yoke)
Location: Matehuala, San Luis Potosí.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required
2+ years of experience in similar roles within manufacturing
Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies (5S, TPM, Kanban, SMED, Poka-Yoke)
Basic knowledge of manufacturing machinery and equipment
Experience managing personnel and leading teams
Strong conflict management, adaptability, and trust-building skills
Ability to enforce company policies and internal work regulations.
