Education:
Required: High school diploma, GED or higher level degree
Preferred: Associate’s degree
Licensure/Certification:
Required: Valid California Driver License and exceptional DMV driving record if assigned to CC8443 EVS Professional Office Buildings
Experience:
Required: Two (2) years of related work experience in environmental services and/or supervising others in a service-related field

Essential Responsibilities
1. Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
2. Maintains a high level of cleanliness in assigned areas.
3. Supervises all assigned staff to include hiring, orienting, training, evaluating and coaching; escalates employee performance concerns to leadership and provides documentation for counseling and performance improvement plans (PIPs) as necessary.
4. Schedules days off, holidays, and vacations, ensuring that facility’s needs are met in accordance with hours and position control.
5. Assigns personnel established work areas or project duties; plans and coordinates project work to ensure that proper frequencies are maintained.
6. Ensures daily job duties are revised and current at all times; reviews job duties with regular and relief team members periodically.
7. Ensures that proper supply control guidelines are followed and staff is trained in the use of all chemicals.
8. Identifies and corrects facility quality assurance concerns; timely follow up is required.
9. Keeps records and appropriate log books current and maintains all necessary documentation; monitors service binders in assigned areas on a daily basis taking appropriate action.
10. Participates in facility Quality Assurance Program as required; ensures high quality percentage of clean is maintained in areas of assignment; performs Quality Assurance Inspections as assigned.
11. Assigns equipment to staff; monitors daily equipment use, cleaning and maintenance.
12. Ensures that all equipment is clean and professional in appearance at all times.
13. Responds to concerns and requests with a sense of urgency and takes necessary corrective action including timely follow-up.
14. Participates in department safety and maintains a safe work environment at all times.
15. Reports all unsafe equipment and acts to leadership.
16. Assists housekeepers on an as needed basis.
17. Ensures housekeeping office, storage, and closets are clean, organized, well maintained and professional in appearance at all times.
18. Performs other duties as assigned.
