Job Title: Supervisor, GMR

Location: Dharuhera, District Rewari (Haryana), India

About the Role

We are seeking a Shift Leader – Production to lead shop‑floor operations during assigned shifts and ensure safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing of hard capsule products. This role is critical in achieving production targets related to quality, delivery, cost, safety, and capacity optimization, while maintaining strict adherence to GMP, EHS, and SOP requirements.

Working at the intersection of people leadership, process excellence, and operational execution, you will coordinate cross‑functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and act as the first point of escalation to ensure stable and high‑quality production outcomes.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and manage shift operations on the shop floor, ensuring discipline and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure optimization of raw material uses, during batch production with all the complies.
  • Deliver shift‑level Production, Safety, and Quality KPIs, taking ownership of performance outcomes.
  • Execute and monitor changeovers in line with SOPs and ensure accurate completion and review of batch records, logs, and production documentation.
  • Monitor critical machine parameters regularly, perform root cause analysis (RCA) for deviations, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Drive continuous quality and process improvement initiatives aligned with site and business goals.
  • Ensure cleanliness, order, and discipline on the shop floor in full compliance with GMP requirements.
  • Execute training plans as per the training calendar, supporting multiskilling and capability building of shop‑floor colleagues.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, Mechanical, Production, Chemical, Instrumentation, or Electronics Engineering.
  • Experience in Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or manufacturing environments with strong exposure to shop‑floor operations.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machine operations, and process parameters.
  • Working knowledge of GMP, safety standards, and quality systems.
  • Experience with RCA, deviation management, and CAPA implementation.
  • Strong people leadership with the ability to manage manpower in challenging and high‑pressure situations.
  • Results‑driven mindset with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
