As the Supervisor, Forestry Capital Delivery, you’ll be at the heart of Mississauga’s mission to sustain, renew, and expand its uran forest. This role offers the opportunity to lead the planning and delivery of the forestry capital program. This includes the planting and establishment of new and replacement trees and their associated infrastructure on street, parks, and in hardscape and softscape.- turning your vision into thriving urban forest ecosystems.
You’ll oversee the full lifecycle of forestry capital programming, from strategic planning to hands-on implementation, and monitoring. Whether managing contracts, motivating staff, or ensuring innovation and best practices, you’ll bring technical expertise and leadership to every step. Collaboration is key: you'll be a key member of the Forestry Leadership Team, you’ll forge strong partnerships across city divisions and with external stakeholders to drive urban forest outcomes.
