We are seeking an experienced Financial Accounting and Reporting Supervisor to oversee the accounting and reporting functions for our TPA business. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial reporting across our administrative services operations. The Supervisor will manage the general ledger and monthly close process, prepare and review financial statements, support customer reporting and billing, and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP. This position will also play a key role in supporting audits and examinations, while driving improvements in financial processes and controls specific to the TPA environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accounting and reporting for the Company’s TPA operations, ensuring timely and accurate monthly close.
  • Prepare, analyze, and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Lead the application of ASC 606 – Revenue Recognition to TPA contracts, billing, and administrative services.
  • Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, regulatory requirements, and TPA-specific reporting obligations. Support external audit and examination requests related to TPA activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and strengthen internal controls within the TPA business
  • Provide technical accounting research and guidance as needed, particularly focused on revenue recognition.



Qualifications



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the fields of Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including experience with ASC 606 – Revenue Recognition.
  • CPA designation preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing general ledger and monthly close processes.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in insurance or TPA accounting strongly preferred.
