Job Description

Job Summary

The Supervisor, Finance BPM and Process Excellence is a hands-on leadership role reporting to the BPM Manager. This position leads the day-to-day work of assigned Business Process Modeling team members while personally supporting complex Finance process-modeling work across Flowserve.

The role is responsible for assigning work in alignment with BPM Manager priorities, reviewing team deliverables for quality, coaching employees, and escalating material delivery risks or stakeholder issues. The Supervisor will work with Finance leaders and subject-matter experts across Flowserve—not only within the BSC—to document end-to-end Finance processes and drive adoption of established BPM and ARIS standards.

This is an opportunity to help build a scalable, BSC-based Finance BPM and Process Excellence capability, with increasing responsibility for team leadership, documentation quality, standards adoption, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and develop assigned BPM team members.
  • Coordinate workload and assignments in alignment with priorities established by the BPM Manager.
  • Partner with the BPM Manager to transition the team toward a sustainable, full-time BSC-based operating model.
  • Contribute ideas and practical recommendations for AI-enabled process modeling, automation, and future process-analytics opportunities.
  • Perform first-line quality reviews of process models, SOPs, and related documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with BPM and ARIS standards.
  • Personally lead complex, high-priority, or cross-functional Finance process-modeling engagements.
  • Facilitate process interviews and workshops with Finance process owners and SMEs across Flowserve.
  • Create and maintain clear end-to-end process models, SOPs and job aids using ARIS.
  • Ensure models document process steps, roles, systems, controls, handoffs, inputs, outputs, and upstream/downstream dependencies.
  • Identify process gaps, unclear ownership, redundancies, manual workarounds, and opportunities for standardization, simplification, automation, or improvement.
  • Drive adoption of BPM standards, templates, and documentation practices through stakeholder engagement, training, and change-management activities.
  • Escalate material risks, capacity concerns, quality issues, stakeholder barriers, and unresolved process decisions to the BPM Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive Finance experience in areas such as AP, AR, GL, Intercompany, Tax, Treasury, or related Finance operations.
  • Experience leading projects, workstreams, teams, or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience creating process models, process maps, workflows, SOPs, or related documentation using ARIS, Visio, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Finance processes, ERP touchpoints, controls, systems, and cross-functional handoffs.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate workshops, interview SMEs, and translate complex work into clear documentation.
  • Strong communication, coaching, organizational, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Advanced English communication skills.

Preferred: Previous supervisory experience; experience in a shared-services/BSC environment; BPMN, process improvement, automation, AI-enabled documentation, or process-mining exposure.

What we offer you:

  • Friendly multicultural environment and team events
  • Life, accident and health insurance
  • Cafeteria Package
  • Career development and training opportunity
  • Opportunity for hybrid work
