Minimum Requirements:

The Supervisor, Finance and Accounting position supports the financial planning, forecasting, and analytical activities that drive strategic decision-making for the UofL Ryan White Programs and the 550 Clinic. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Program Director on budget development, conducting variance and trend analyses, and monitoring program performance through key indicators. The role also contributes to programmatic risk assessments, prepares clear and actionable financial reports for senior leadership, and works closely with cross-functional partners to ensure accurate billing, regulatory compliance, and alignment with program goals and long-term sustainability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct advanced forecasting and prior-year performance analyses to project funding needs and support optimized resource allocation for the multimillion-dollar Ryan White Parts B, C, and D budgets and associated 340B program income.
Perform annual budget reconciliation and ensure accurate financial documentation across Ryan White and 340B Program Income funds.
Lead and supervise a financial team of 5–7 staff and students to streamline workflows and achieve key financial objectives.
Manage financial reporting activities, track deliverables, and maintain communication with internal and external partners such as OSPA, HRSA, and KDPH.
Contribute to a high-performing financial environment by assisting with training efforts, participating in quality reviews, and helping refine workflow processes.
Draft and update fiscal policies in partnership with the Program Director to ensure compliance with HRSA and state regulations.
Prepare bi-monthly financial progress reports that support program leadership in making service-related decisions.
Analyze financial data for the 340B Program, including variance analysis, KPI monitoring, scenario modeling, and identification of trends and risks.
Develop financial projections for potential program expansions (e.g., new locations, vaccine programs) and assist in evaluating program and billing compliance requirements.
Collaborate across teams to ensure accurate claims processing in Epic, maintain compliant billing practices, participate in CQM initiatives, and use EMR/PE databases for eligibility tracking and reporting needs.
Support monthly and quarterly financial and service performance reviews by coordinating with the Program Data Management team as part of the long-term Clinical Quality Management (CQM) strategic plan.
Use EMR and Provide Enterprise (PE) systems to document and track patient eligibility and enrollment for accurate service billing, quality improvement activities, and Ryan White reporting requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Health Administration.
MBA or Masters in Analytics a Plus.
Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principle.
5 years demonstrated experience related to business and financial analytics and management tasks.
Strong proficiency in data analysis, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Problem solving, critical thinking, teamwork, organization, and time management skills.
Experience working with PLWHA and Familiarity with Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) a plus.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
