  • Compensation: Starting at $78,000 annually, commensurate with experience

How you will make an impact

  • Carry out company policy and duties as directed by the Facility Manager.
  • Supervise and train the engineering staff in the safe and efficient operation of the Central Plant and Energy Management Systems.
  • Responsible for the preventative maintenance and major maintenance of Central Plant Machinery.
  • Supervise and train the HVAC mechanics to do preventative maintenance, major maintenance, and emergency calls on all HVAC equipment campus-wide.
  • Responsible for the formulation and implementation of energy savings operations.
  • Formulate a “sequence of operations” to best utilize the central plant machinery.
  • Maintain proper and adequate inventory of spare parts.

What you will need

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operation and supervision of multi-boiler and multi-chiller installations required
  • Knowledge of computerized energy management systems
  • Minimum of 2 years of Supervisory experience preferred
  • Stationary Engineer license preferred
  • Valid driver’s license is required if operating Community vehicles
  • AFE Certified Professional Supervisor (CPS) certification within one year of hire.
  • EPA 608 Universal certification within one year of hire.
  • NFPA 70E certification within one year of hire.
  • OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Certification within 1 year of hire
