UGL Utilities are recruiting for a Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a newly awarded Substation Project in NSW

What will a day in this role look like:

·Supervise and coordinate daily site-based electrical construction activities

·Manage electrical crews, subcontractors and apprentices to ensure productivity, quality and compliance.

·Oversee installation and termination of cables, earth grids, HV plant, switchgear and associated services.

·Coordinate works in live operational environments including substations.

·Lead toolbox talks, pre-start meetings and safety initiatives

·Ensure HSSEQ, QA and project documentation requirements are met

·Monitor progress, workforce performance and timesheets

·Support workforce development, inductions and compliance training

·Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders and site leadership

What are we looking for you to bring to the team:

·Experience within the construction industry within a team lead/supervisory role

·Strong planning and coordination skills

·A proven record driving continuous improvement

·Demonstrated organisational capabilities

·Strong communication skills

·Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Access & Outlook

·Knowledge of LEAN principals

·Experience with Primavera, MS Project, SAP and experience on substations green or brownfield suits civil
