We are looking for Supervisor, EHS to join our Bermudez Team.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World

Ensure and monitor safety in the workplace including the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with established company, environmental and government regulations. Is responsible for monitoring practices and programs designed to safeguard the welfare of all employees in the work environment. Administer the identification and resolution of safety, hygiene and environmental aspects in the launch of new products and processes as well as in the development of work risk analysis and process design focused on continuous improvement.

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or career related.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Extensive knowledge in environmental regulation.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
• Personnel management experience.
• STPS, SDUE, PROFEPA, SEMARNAT, Civil Defense knowledge.
• 70% English (written and spoken).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Defining roles and allocating responsibilities and accountabilities to facilitate the effective implementation of the EHS Management System.
• Monitor all incident and accident investigations for follow-up and ensure responsible persons complete their corrective actions preventing recurrences.
• Assist plants on compliance findings, including safety and environmental agencies, at all levels of government.
• Provide training and assistance to plant leaders, safety teams and inter-functional teams.
• Understanding, implementing and communicating global EHS standards and the CommScope EHS Management System to appropriate facility and operations personnel.
• Ensuring employees, management, supervisors, etc. are properly trained in their roles and responsibilities for EHS Management.
