Supervisor - DC Warehouse Operations

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Onsite - Seridan, AROpportunityCoordinates put-away, replenishment, picking, and inventory activities for Kitchen & Bath finished goods at the Sheridan Distribution Center. Oversees product movement across rack and floor storage locations and manages a team of approximately 20 to 50 associates.

Specific Responsibilities

• Supervise finished product put-away, replenishment, picking, and inventory activities. Partner with the General Supervisor to determine storage locations and update procedures as needed to align with the inventory mix.
• Assign personnel daily in the most cost-effective manner to meet shipping schedules and production delivery requirements.
• Maintain and enter Warehouse Management System data as needed to support daily processing requirements.
• Under the direction of the General Supervisor, train an efficient and adequate workforce to meet all company and customer requirements.
• Support standard work measurement programs by training employees on required reporting techniques, auditing job elements, and issuing change-of-operations notices as needed.
• Maintain effective housekeeping practices to protect products and ensure an orderly work environment.
• Maintain storage and material-handling equipment in safe, reliable operating conditions by performing regular visual inspections and initiating repair or replacement requests as needed.
• Evaluate subordinate performance, provide regular feedback, and enforce company policies and guidelines, particularly those related to safety, personnel, and housekeeping.
• Prepare time, production, and usage reports related to operations as directed. Complete special reports, additional duties, and special projects as assigned by the General Supervisor.
• Assist or substitute for other Distribution Center Supervisors on vacation or due to sick days.
• Prepare and maintain key reports, including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and 5S.
• Perform all other duties and projects as required by DC leadership team.
• Participate in safety initiatives, including wall-to-wall inspections, program support and updates, incident investigations, safety training, accident prevention, daily safety oversight, new equipment approval, Kaizen events, safety teams, funding allocation for safety equipment and initiatives, and return-to-work programs.
• All other duties as assigned by Sheridan DC Leadership.

Skills/Requirements

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education/experience (Associate's Degree or higher level of education is preferred)3+ years of distribution experience or equivalent experience in a comparable roleAbility to maintain safe work environmentAbility to achieve productivity standards and cost expectationsAbility to establish/maintain quality and adhere to company policiesAbility to establish strong relationships with internal/external customersPrior supervisory/leadership experience in a warehouse/manufacturing/distribution environment is preferredWMS experience is preferredSAP experience is preferredAutomation experience is preferred

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation.
