ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises a team of contract clerks to ensure that data entry is consistent with or exceeds service standards.
- Responsible for training and development of team including individual performance reviews.
- Monitor, track, and report team productivity metrics to ensure alignment with service level expectations and departmental goals.
- Involved in interviewing potential candidates and orientating new team members.
- Facilitates team meetings to discuss team concerns and update team on overall performance results, new policies, and procedures.
- Monitor contract status to ensure pricing is always current – including updating pricing.
- Implement mass data updates.
- Responsible for maintaining working relationships with all internal and external business partners.
- Makes personal contributions to the achievement of goals by delivering superior service and by using all available support resources.
- Periodic evaluation of department needs in relation to current practices and procedures.
- Receives, identifies, and sorts data to be entered and makes a daily work plan accordingly.
- Oversee data input of source documents, necessary corrections, and responds to inquiries of data entered.
- Adjust customer billing setups for activations, deactivations, or changes.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable SOX controls related to customer data management processes, maintaining accuracy, documentation, and audit readiness.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directly supervises up to 12 subordinates.
- Adheres to and enforces the organization’s policies, procedures, and Federal/State applicable laws.
- Work with manager to interview, hire and train employees.
- Plan, assign, and direct work of subordinates.
- Work with manager to conduct employee appraisals, performance and productivity reviews, recognition rewards and disciplinary action when necessary.
- Work with manager to address and resolve employees concerns or issues.
- Direct Customer Data Management team lead to ensure, contract compliance, timely distribution of work, accurate reporting, and tracking.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, pricing, and equipment.
- Ability to read, comprehend and develop employee communications, scripting, and procedural materials.
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from individual or groups of employees and managers.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills. MS office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate subordinates.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
Associate degree in business preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Three years working experience in a data entry environment preferred.
- Two years’ experience in supervisory position preferred.
