
In addition to meeting the basic standards of a Staff RN, the Clinical Operations Supervisor is expected to role model and exceed the Standards of Performance. In conjunction with the Manager, s/he is to assume the accountability for the quality for nursing care delivered on a specific unit. The Clinical Operations Supervisor gives direct care and oversees the care given by other nursing personnel on the unit. The Clinical Operations Supervisor coordinates orientation of staff members, participates in evaluating their performance, and provides continuing education. Assists the Manager in planning and managing the resources necessary for the delivery of patient care in the specified area.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in State of Indiana. Minimum 2 years RN experience and at least one year RN experience in specialty required. BSN preferred, or education plan in place. ACLS, PALS certification.
