Assures the efficient operation of the front office. Works to achieve the organization’s strategic goals of excellent customer service. Responsible for directing, supervising and coordinating office support staff and activities. Responsible for assisting patients with questions and concerns regarding office services. Supervises front and back office staff (Patient Representatives)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Minimum of a high school education, advanced degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of office management experience.
  • Previous administrative support position in a health care organization.
  • Knowledge of organization policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of fiscal management and human resource management techniques
  • Knowledge of office management techniques and practices
  • Knowledge of computer systems and applications, ability to be a “super-user”.
  • Skill in gathering, analyzing and evaluating data.
  • Skill in written and verbal communication
  • Ability to clearly communicate and apply policies and principles to solve everyday problems.
  • Understands budgeting process and is familiar with practice’s finances and reimbursement system to assure success at meeting financial and service delivery goals.
