Job Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Allied Health and/or Nursing-From an approved school of Radiologic Technology, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, or Nursing No Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree

  • Registered with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Passed certification and is registered as RDCS, RCS, RVT, RVS, or CNMT Modality specific registered and/or certification

  • 2-3 years’ experience in Clinical Healthcare

  • 2-3 years’ experience in Professional Healthcare

  • Cardiovascular Imaging specific experience and/or Cardiac Stress Nursing experience, clinical and professional


This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Cardiovascular Imaging and Diagnostics to include Echosonography, Vascular Ultrasound, Cardiac Stress Testing, Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing, Nuclear Medicine, Holter monitoring, Tilt Table Testing, and EKG both within the hospital and/or ambulatory environments. It is the responsibility of this position to facilitate high quality services and to provide support to patients, physicians, families and other departments. This is accomplished by having appropriate staffing levels to cover the service, equipment that is in good operating condition, and the necessary supplies to perform the procedure or exam. This position provides direct supervision of staff, provides timely feedback and evaluates staff on their performance. The supervisor works in conjunction with the cardiologists, radiologists, and other physicians to provide services and care. This position is also responsible for implementing policies and procedures and monitoring adherence to all state, federal and accrediting agencies’ regulatory requirements. This position reports to the diagnostic cardiovascular manager and works closely with the manager to achieve high quality outcomes, adherence to operating budgets, safe patient care, hiring and firing, and oversight of team members.

  • Regularly Round on Team Members, using questions from the rounding log.

    • 25 or fewer team members = monthly

  • Lead monthly team meetings using meeting agenda template; review stoplight report; cascade key leadership messages.
