You will be part of a tight-knit team, working directly with partners and directors, providing client focused and commercially aware services in an efficient and professional manner. You will mentor, train and manage junior members of staff to enable them to develop and progress with the option of being involved in formal training if desired. You will have a particular focus on not for profit organisations, so you will be able to demonstrate the highest technical standards in these areas. Our not for profit clients include Charities, Schools, Oxford colleges, Religious Organisations and NHS charities, just to name a few as well as commercial clients for those wanting a mixed portfolio.
You will be a fantastic communicator, with the ability to explain accounting concepts to clients and you will have the confidence and credibility to attend Governor and Trustee meetings and to present tenders. You will be required to fully immerse yourself in the sector and the area, attending client premises, seminars and the occasional evening event. Moore Kingston Smith works as one firm, so you will also have the desire to contribute to the overall growth and management of MKS. You will take responsibility for developing junior staff and will support the Firm’svalues and act as a role model for your team members.
