About the role

We are looking for Supervisor Asset Health to join our Marandoo operations team. This role presents an opportunity to Lead, mentor, coach and develop the Mobile Equipment Maintenance (MEM) Asset Health team including providing regular performance feedback. Provide leadership in safely executing MEM Asset Health activities at a site level ensuring team performance is in line with short term objectives.

Reporting to the Superintendent Mobile Equipment Maintenance you will be working in an inclusive and supportive team, within maintenance operations, you will:

• Adhere to all Rio Tinto standards, policies and procedures
• Appointment as Statutory Supervisor under WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022 with the functions as per Schedule 26.
• Actively foster and communicate a positive safety culture to promote safety awareness and compliance, encouraging prioritisation of safety in all activities and operations.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, evaluating and implementing improvement opportunities utilising a range of Rio Tinto best practices .
• Collaborate closely with other functions and stakeholders in the performance of duties
• Provide appropriate coaching, mentoring and technical support to Mobile Equipment Maintenance.
• Drive team compliance to Work Management, HydrocarbonManagement, Condition Monitoring Standards and leading practices.
• Ensure effective communication with Asset Health stakeholders for timely remedial actions to minimize asset failures risks.

About you:

• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
• Computer Literacy (SAP Experience, Microsoft Suite).
• Sound written and verbal communications skills.
• Understanding of Work Management, maintenance and asset health processes.
• Technical Understanding of Heavy Mobile Equipment and ability to learn quickly.
• Self-motivation and able to work safely and independently.
• A Current Western Australian ‘C’ Class Driver's Licence (Manual).
• Statutory Position Legal Exam – Statutory Supervisor.

Where you will be working

The Marandoo mine is located at the foot of Mount Bruce adjacent to the Karijini National Park, 50 km east of the town of Tom Price. Marandoo is known for its picturesque hills and mountain ranges. Our operation currently employs a fly-in fly-out workforce.
