THE JOB:
The Arena Operations Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Arena. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices and procedures.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Schedule and supervise stagehand crews; i.e., riggers deck-hand, loaders, a/v technicians, spot light operators
• Perform liaison duties between facility and production crews
• Supervise the setting and striking of all staging aspects, bleachers, chairs, basketball courts and ice rinks
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and stored, and operational
• Conduct inspections before and after each bleacher move
• Review, evaluate subordinates, and document time sheets
• Enforce fire and safety codes, verify monthly fire extinguisher inspections
• Submit requests for purchase materials, supplies, and equipment
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, cargo trucks, rental vehicles, and company vehicles

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21 years or older
• High School Diploma or GED is Required
• 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience as a stagehand supervisor in the special events field with experience setting up and tearing down Required
• 4+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience As a stagehand in the special events field with experience setting up and tearing down Required
