
As a Cash and Bank Payment Supervisor, you will lead a team within our Shared Service center, focusing on daily operation. You will ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors maintain strict internal controls and compliance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US-GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.
Your role:
Supervise the day-to-day work of the Cash and Bank payment team, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payments
Along with the process Subject Matter Expert and other teams, supervise the team to transition responsibilities from sites into the Shared Service center
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information
Responsible for balancing team workload and ensuring month-end deadlines and other KPI targets are met for the team
Help develop an environment and culture that supports the attraction and retention of quality talent
Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal controls for the center’s operations
Build a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement
Work cross-functionally to ensure end-to-end processes operate effectively within the assigned area
Maintain strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders, resolving escalated issues promptly
Ensure up-to-date process documentation and knowledge management for the team
Your profile:
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related economic/business studies
5+ years of experience is required, with at least 2+ years in a Shared Service center environment
Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop people
Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills in English
Strong drive for action and proactivity in recognizing and resolving issues
Confident user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Continuous improvement mindset (LEAN Six Sigma is an advantage)
