Location: Bob and Berts Cookstown

Hours: Full-time including early mornings and weekends

Pay: £14.00 to £14.50 depending on experience

Your shifts: You’ll need availability for opening, closing and weekend shifts, including early mornings and holidays.

Essential eligibility: You must be aged 18 or over. This supervisor position includes key-holder, opening/closing, cash-handling and shift-accountability responsibilities. Applications from candidates under 18 cannot be progressed for this role.

What You’ll Do

• Run the shift: Open and close securely, organise tasks and support rota planning.
• Support the team: Welcome new starters and coach colleagues on coffee, service and tills.
• Delight customers: Serve great food and coffee, create a warm welcome and resolve concerns professionally.
• Keep standards high: Maintain cleanliness, food hygiene and safety; follow company policies and report equipment issues.
• Manage the details: Monitor stock, support ordering, reduce waste and keep displays tempting.
• Handle cash accurately: Reconcile daily sales and prepare bank deposits.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 1–2 years in a busy café, restaurant or retail setting, including supervising a team or leading shifts.
• Essential eligibility: Aged 18 or over due to the key-holder, opening/closing, cash-handling and shift-accountability duties of this position.
• Coffee skills: Confidence using commercial espresso machines and making speciality coffees.
• People skills: Clear communication, a hands-on coaching approach and friendly, professional customer service.
• Till experience: Confidence using till systems and handling cash accurately.

A Few Practical Details

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods (up to 8 hours).
• Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs (milk crates, coffee bags, etc.).
• Eligibility to work in the UK
