We rally together, drawing on the diverse skills across our teams and create environments where great ideas are heard.This opportunity will see you join a reputable company with a highly experienced team who work together to develop and provide solutions for our customers.UGL’s Industrial & Resources division are currently seeking a supervisor to join our Mt Piper – Lithgow NSW for an upcoming outage.On Offer:ASAP StartCasual RoleDay Shift11-hour shifts, Monday through till SaturdayAccommodation providedCompetitive remunerationThe role will be responsible for supervising a major outage of a unit at a Power Station, safely delivering planned maintenance within the scheduled timeframe, coordinating crews, contractors, and resources to ensure all work is completed efficiently, in line with schedule, scope, and safety requirementsEnforce strict adherence to safety procedures, isolations and permit systemsSupervise crews and contractors, ensure work is completed to scope, quality standards, and schedulePlan, prioritise, and sequence tasks to meet shutdown milestonesMonitor progress and provide regular updates to shutdown management and stakeholdersCoordinate resources, tools, and materials to avoid delays in disruptionMaintain accurate documentationDaily Timesheet keepingConduct toolbox talksWork under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyComply with safety standards and local regulationsSkills Required:Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, materials and processesA minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in supervising Demonstrated experience in managing teams and resources successfullyStrong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skillsSolid interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with teams and stakeholdersQualifications RequiredTrade Certificate White Card Drive License WAH & Confined Space - completed within 2 years About UsUGL is well-known and respected for providing end-to-end engineering, construction and maintenance services within, rail and transport, communications and technology systems, oil and gas, power, renewables and resources, water and defence markets.
