Supervisor – Compliance

Mears Group has been awarded a major new 10-year partnership with Birmingham City Council to deliver repairs, maintenance, and planned investment work across 11,500 homes in central and west Birmingham. This contract represents one of our most significant projects in the city and will create a wide range of opportunities across our operational teams.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Compliance Supervisor to join our team in Birmingham. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day compliance activity across tenanted and void domestic properties, ensuring all statutory and regulatory requirements are met safely, on time and to a high standard. This includes supporting the management of compliance processes such as gas, electrical, and other safety programmes, coordinating workloads, reviewing certification and documentation, carrying out quality checks, and providing guidance to operatives and subcontractors.
With a strong pipeline of work and a commitment to improving social housing standards, this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring safety and compliance across our housing stock. We’re looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused and proactive, with a passion for maintaining high standards, driving performance and ensuring full compliance while delivering a positive service for customers and stakeholders.
