We are currently seeking experienced Shutdown & Outage Supervisors to join our Team. With a diverse portfolio that spans across heavy industry, power generation, chemical plants, and mining infrastructure we are now looking to supplement the team. You will be responsible for delivering high quality project services to the client and provide supervision and coordination as directed by Superintendents, Project Managers and the client.

Key responsibility areas

  • Ensure correct material, machinery, equipment and personnel are available and suitable for completion of work
  • Conduct toolbox / pre-start meetings daily
  • Ensure that Leading Hands and all labour are suitably trained and possess the necessary skills to undertake their designated responsibilities
  • Assess risks and hazards involved in tasks, and identify methods to manage the hazards to prevent incidents, injury and damage
  • Maintain daily timesheets for labour and equipment
  • Plan and coordinate resources and equipment for the Outage and conduct the work in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner
  • Provide up to date reports and data on progress in your area of scope
  • Ensure that the quality requirements of the client are adhered to and that Company procedures are followed
  • Drive safety as a priority always

About You

·Relevant Trade Certificate of qualifications

·Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role

·Experience in maintenance or shutdown projects

  • Solid communication and written skills with the ability to establish clear lines of control and delegation
  • Be approachable and tactful with good time management skills
  • Strong client focus and a genuine desire to assist team members
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products Word, Excel and Outlook
