Rainbow started in 1985 as a family-led greenhouse guided by the Vander Waal's commitment to quality, relationships, and long-term growth. Today, with the confidence of our retail partners, the dedication of our teams, and the continued support of our customers, we continue to expand our operations.

We produce ornamental annuals, perennials, tropical foliage, indoor flowering plants, vegetable starters, and cut flowers on a commercial scale, using advanced systems across every stage of production. Spanning more than five million square feet of growing space in British Columbia and Alberta, our teams combine decades of horticultural expertise with precision systems that emphasize efficiency and deliver consistent results at scale.

We continue to innovate through automation, fertigation, and integrated pest management practices. These advancements help us support our teams, protect resources, and deliver high-quality plants year-round. Every system, from propagation and cultivation to distribution and merchandising, has been refined to provide our retail partners with a complete, full-service approach.
