Vaughn & BCI is seeking a reliable and experienced Food Service Supervisor to lead daily operations within the dining facility at Warner Robins Air Force Base The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing food service staff, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards, and supporting smooth, efficient meal preparation and delivery.
Supervise kitchen and dining facility staff during assigned shifts
Ensure compliance with military food service guidelines and company policies
Monitor food preparation, portion control, and presentation for quality and consistency
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation across all service areas
Train, guide, and evaluate food service workers, including Cook I and utility staff
Conduct inventory checks and assist with ordering and receiving supplies
Address and resolve operational or staffing issues in real time
Communicate with base personnel and company leadership regarding schedules, issues, and feedback
Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment and PPE
Complete daily documentation and reports as required
High school diploma or GED required; culinary or hospitality certification is a plus
2+ years of supervisory experience in a food service or dining facility environment
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and sanitation standards
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work standing for extended periods
Must be able to pass background check for base access
This position operates in a fast-paced, military food service setting. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and a strong work ethic. Supervisors are expected to lead by example and maintain the highest standards of service and safety.
