Job Shift: First ShiftThe Supervisor of Programs provides oversight for the daily operations of Domestic Violence (DV), Sexual Assault (SA), and Prevention, Outreach, and Education (POE) programs. This role ensures effective implementation of services, supervises program staff, and leads training initiatives. The Supervisor develops relationships with key stakeholders to enhance community awareness of The Center’s services and collaborates to address social issues related to intimate partner and sexual violence in the service area. This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, staff development, data-informed decision-making, and program alignment with agency priorities and funding requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field may be substituted for a degree.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory/management experience, with demonstrated leadership in social services or advocacy programs.
- Must maintain at least 16 hours of continuing education annually, including 6 hours specific to sexual assault.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in program supervision, case management, crisis intervention, or a related field.
- Experience in trauma-informed advocacy and service delivery preferred.
- On-the-job training required (approximately 3 to 6 months).
- Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record that meets agency automobile insurance requirements, if operating a company vehicle.
- Must have a successful background check.

Essential Physical Demands
- Moderate exposure to risk, requiring adherence to safety protocols.
- Some travel within a 9-county service area.
- Ability to transport clients and program materials as needed.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs and up to 70 lbs with assistance.
- Exposure to a variety of physical environments including extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, loud noises, and chemicals.
- Must have close vision (20 inches or less) and distance vision (20 feet or more).
- Ability to work in high-stress environments, requiring emotional resilience and adherence to self-care practices.
