Job Shift: Any ShiftHere at Faber, we operate a variety of business models within the travel industry, offering a full menu of snacks, meals, and beverages in our restaurants, as well as a wide variety of merchandise in our giftshop; including local souvenirs, travel supplies, snacks and beverages. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Delivers exceptional guest service through personal contact with guest
- Provide guidance and leadership to our team members
- Manage all business aspects of assigned property
- Maintain financial expectations of all units
- Protect and control the integrity of all company funds and property
- Ensures register transactions are processed according to company policies
- Ensures compliance of all local, state and federal laws as it pertains to tobacco, alcohol and lottery sales including the carding of all guests in accordance with the above agency’s requirements
- Satisfies all local health requirements in regards to food handling
- Oversees the production, preparation, packaging and serving of food and beverage items
- Oversees receiving and stocking procedures
- Ensures all merchandise is properly checked in
- Ensures all areas of the store are properly stocked daily
- Ensures all items in the store are within date code with newer items being in the back and older items being placed up front
- Ensure all merchandise is recovered and faced to company standards
- Ensures proper ticketing and signing of store merchandise
- Executes corporate directed prices changes and clearance markdowns
- Ensures the overall restaurant is neat, cleaned, organized and free of debris
- Ensures all employees comply to dress code as outlined in the employee handbook
- Performs other duties as assigned by the company’s leadership team
- Reports to work on time and in uniform for scheduled hours
- Writes employee schedules
- Writes merchandise and F&B orders to purveyors
- Works with Airport or Train Station management to ensure Guest satisfaction, safety & security requirements are followed at all times.

QualificationsSkills and

Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read a computer monitor and understand basic POS functions
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Minimum one year food handling preferred
- Minimum one year retail sales preferred
- Minimum one year supervisory roll preferred
- High School diploma preferred
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store needs. Self-motivated and energetic. Ability to work under pressure. Able to work a flexible work schedule and meet business demands, including weekends and holidays. Knowledge of managing the operations of a business, or group. Knowledge of advertising and selling products and services. Knowledge of providing special services to customers based on their needs.
Physical Demands:
- Lifting, pushing and pulling boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
- Frequent kneeling, bending and stooping
- Climbing ladders to stock merchandise in high locations
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Must be available to work a schedule that meets the needs of the business
