Simmons & Simmons' Energy, Natural Resources, Infrastructure & Construction (ENRIC) sector brings together market-leading lawyers advising on some of the most complex and strategically significant projects and transactions globally. Our practice advises sponsors, developers, energy companies, infrastructure investors, funds, financial institutions and multinational corporates across the full project lifecycle.
The team has particular strength in transactional matters, including M&A, joint ventures, project development, project finance and strategic investments across the energy and infrastructure sectors. We advise clients operating across traditional and transitioning energy markets, including Oil & Gas, LNG, Power & Renewables, Mining & Metals, Digital Infrastructure and critical infrastructure projects.
As demand continues to grow across our international platform, we are seeking a further mid-level associate and a senior associate to play a key role in supporting clients on complex domestic and cross-border transactions.
This opportunity is suited to lawyers with approximately 6-10 years' post-qualification experience gained within a leading international or national practice, with a strong focus on energy sector transactions.
The successful candidates will work closely with partners and clients on a broad range of matters, with a particular emphasis on energy-related M&A, joint ventures and project development work. The roles will involve advising major energy companies, infrastructure investors, private equity funds, project sponsors and developers on strategic investments, acquisitions, disposals, joint venture arrangements and the development of large-scale energy and infrastructure assets.
The roles offer exposure to both established and emerging energy markets, including conventional Oil & Gas projects, LNG and midstream infrastructure, mining & metals, alongside renewable and energy transition opportunities. Candidates should be comfortable leading substantial workstreams, managing client relationships, supervising junior lawyers and contributing to business development initiatives across the wider ENRIC sector.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and growing international practice with a strong reputation for delivering commercially focused advice on high-value, complex transactions.
