We’re looking for a dedicated Supervising Contact Worker to join our team at Slough Children First on 12-month fixed term contract basis. This is a vital role where you’ll help children and families maintain safe, meaningful connections during challenging times.
As one of our Supervising Contact Workers, you’ll ensure supervised contact sessions are delivered to the highest standard, fostering positive communication between children, young people, and their families. You‘ll carry out agreed activities and interventions in line with the case-holding social worker’s plan, confidently managing and de-escalating challenging situations, while attending meetings, reviews, case conferences, and court hearings as required.
As a Supervising Contact Worker, you’ll have experience working with children and young people from diverse backgrounds, particularly those who are vulnerable. With strong communication skills, resilience, and a commitment to making a difference, you’ll have the ability to collaborate effectively with professionals such as social workers, reviewing officers, schools, and foster carers.
