Comment vous créerez un impact

À ce poste clé de direction, vous serez responsable de la gestion et du développement d'une équipe de 5 à 8 analystes, du niveau débutant au niveau senior, en charge de différents types de sinistres Accident et Santé, notamment les risques spéciaux (établissements scolaires, lieux de culte, associations sportives, etc.), les maladies graves, les assurances complémentaires santé, le remboursement des certificats médicaux et les frais de voyage. Ce rôle essentiel implique des échanges réguliers avec nos courtiers, nos clients et les différentes équipes de l'entreprise, ainsi que l'élaboration de la stratégie de gestion des sinistres Accident et Santé.

  • Encadrement et formation des analystes
  • Approbation des provisions et des règlements dépassant le cadre de leurs compétences
  • Examen et approbation des lettres de prise en charge et/ou de refus de prise en charge
  • Examen, approbation et suivi des sinistres importants
  • Réalisation d'examens mensuels des dossiers ouverts afin de garantir la conformité aux procédures opérationnelles et aux meilleures pratiques
  • Veiller à ce que les analystes fournissent un service client exceptionnel, notamment par des échanges réguliers avec nos clients, nos courtiers et nos partenaires.
  • Entretenir de bonnes relations et une collaboration étroite avec les souscripteurs, les courtiers et les assurés.
  • Promouvoir une culture d'intégrité et de gestion des risques au sein de l'équipe et veiller à ce qu'elle atteigne les indicateurs clés de performance et incarne la raison d'être et les valeurs d'AIG.
  • Gérer et soutenir l'équipe administrative et garantir la qualité des rapports, des indicateurs et des services.

Ce dont vous aurez besoin pour réussir :

· La maîtrise de l'anglais et du français (verbal et écrit) est essentielle, car une partie des dossiers traités auront lieu à l'extérieur du Québec ou avec une clientèle anglophone

  • Expérience dans la gestion de réclamations pour dommages corporels — notamment en assurance Accidents et santé ou en assurance automobile commerciale (PIP) — incluant les dossiers de pertes majeures et les litiges.
  • Solides compétences en leadership et capacité à travailler de manière autonome avec une supervision minimale, ainsi qu’à prendre des décisions et à donner des directives aux analystes et à l’équipe de soutien.
  • Excellentes compétences en organisation, en communication et en relations interpersonnelles permettant de travailler efficacement au sein d’une équipe évoluant dans un environnement dynamique.
  • Diplôme d’études collégiales ou universitaires, ou expérience équivalente dans le secteur.
  • Maîtrise des outils informatiques pour naviguer dans un système de gestion de dossiers de réclamation sans papier et utiliser les applications bureautiques, notamment Windows, MS Word et Excel.

How you will create an impact

In this key leadership role you will be responsible for leading and developing a large team of 5-8 Analysts, junior to senior, handling various types of Accident & Health (A&H) claims including Special Risk (Schools, Churches, Sports, etc.), Critical Illness, Supplemental Health, Medical Certificate Reimbursement, Travel, This mission critical role includes regular interaction with our brokers, clients and the business and developing the strategy for A&H claims.

  • Monitoring and providing instructions, coaching/mentoring, and training to Analysts
  • Approving reserves and settlements above the Analysts authority
  • Reviewing and approving coverage and/or denial of coverage letters
  • Reviewing, approving and monitoring Large Losses
  • Performing monthly open file reviews to ensure compliance with Operational / Best Practices guidelines
  • Ensuring Analysts provide exceptional customer service, including regular interaction with our customers, brokers and vendor partners.
  • Maintaining good rapport and close working relationships with underwriters, brokers and insureds
  • Promote a culture of integrity and risk management within the team and ensuring the team is performing against key performance indicators and living AIG’s purpose and values
  • Managing and supporting the administrative team and ensuring high quality reporting, metrics and service standards

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Fluency in both English and French (verbal and written) is essential, as a significant portion of underwriting handled by the employee will occur outside of Quebec
  • Experience handling injury claims, such as Accident & Health, or Commercial Auto Injury (PIP) claims, including large loss and litigation matters
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to make decisions and give directions to Analysts and support team
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a fast paced team environment
  • College/university degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Proficient computer skills to navigate in paperless claim file system and PC applications, including Windows, MSWord and Excel.
