Job Description

Albemarle is hiring for a DLE Process & Technology Superintendent. This position is onsite and located in Santiago, Chile.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the process technology strategy for the DLE operation.
  • Manage process optimization, performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership to operations, project and commissioning teams.
  • Ensure process stability, quality, productivity and recovery targets are achieved.
  • Lead process control, process engineering and technology improvement activities.
  • Support operational readiness and ramp-up of the DLE facility.
  • Drive innovation and best practices to maximize plant performance.

What You Bring

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of industrial processing experience.
  • Experience leading process engineering and process technology teams.
  • Strong knowledge of process optimization and process control systems.
  • Experience supporting plant start-up, operational readiness or commissioning activities.

Preferred

  • Postgraduate studies related to Process Engineering, Metallurgy or Operational Excellence.
  • Experience in lithium, mining, chemicals or hydrometallurgical operations.
  • Experience with advanced process control and digital technologies.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
