Where you’ll be working
Boyne Smelters Limited (BSL) is Australia's second largest aluminium smelter, located at Boyne Island near Gladstone in Central Queensland. Each day, the site manufactures carbon anodes, smelts aluminium and casts molten metal into aluminium products that are supplied to customers around the world. BSL is a key part of Rio Tinto's aluminium business and offers employees the opportunity to work in a large-scale industrial operation focused on safety, innovation and continuous improvement.
