Manages Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) individuals to deliver high-quality results and foster professional growth. Guides cross-functional teams and trade partners to proactively identify and resolve moderately complex technical challenges, supporting seamless project execution and client satisfaction. Oversees adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements specific to MEP activities, reinforcing a culture where every team member is empowered and accountable for maintaining a safe, inclusive, and high-performing jobsite. Aligns MEP field activities with overall project objectives, ensuring that daily decisions contribute to successful outcomes and long-term client relationships. Directs on-site MEP construction activities, ensuring that MEP work is executed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards, while reinforcing the organization’s reputation for MEP operational excellence.
Leads, manages, and develops a team of MEP individuals to achieve exceptional performance and encourage talent development.
Oversees all MEP-related construction activities, ensuring MEP systems are installed safely and efficiently, and that all work meets project specifications, codes, and organizational standards.
Manages coordination with project managers, MEP subcontractors, and suppliers to schedule resources, resolve moderately complex MEP-related issues, and maintain project momentum.
Ensures compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements specific to MEP operations, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Reviews and approves daily field documentation, including progress reports, safety planning documentation (i.e. pre-task-plans), and productivity records, to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
Reviews and communicates project status, risks, and opportunities to leadership and relevant stakeholders, proactively addressing concerns to support project success.
Associate's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction management, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
7 years of experience in MEP field engineering, MEP construction management, or a related field required.
1 - 2 years of experience in a managerial capacity preferred.
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30-Hour Construction certification preferred. OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.
First Aid and CPR certification required.
