Superintendent II (Industrial) – Operations, Field

Location: Jacksonville, FL.

About the Role

Superintendent II leads field operations on industrial projects in the Jacksonville area, planning, supervising, and executing construction to ensure a safe, orderly, and efficient jobsite. As a senior field leader, this role takes on larger, more complex projects, mentors field staff, and helps Winter grow its presence in the Jacksonville market.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and execute all field operations on industrial projects, maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient jobsite
• Lead schedule development and near-term planning with subcontractors, proactively resolving risks to keep milestones on track
• Direct subcontractor coordination and quality control, including inspections, water management, and a continuous punch process
• Lead, train, and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Representatives, and field staff
• Manage field budgets and subcontractor pay applications, and support preconstruction, buyout, and pursuits of new work

Qualifications

• 10+ years of superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor, including supervising field staff
• Experience leading ground-up industrial projects 50M+
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, quality control, and subcontractor coordination
• OSHA 30 certification [required / preferred]
• Based in the Jacksonville, FL area or willing to relocate
